Located in Durango, Colorado, this residence showcases contemporary mountain living by celebrating the beauty of its natural elements and landscape.  Stone textures, wood tones, and architectural details are enhanced through soft layered illumination, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels elevated, comfortable, and connected to its surroundings. The main staircase is a centerpiece of the home where LED illumination was used to enrich the featured element.  Subtle statement pieces and architectural lighting enhance rather than steal the show of the incredible mountain views.  Lightform’s goal was to select lighting that would allow materials to feel rich and inviting, lending to visual interest throughout the space.
